On Friday night, I ended up alone with my childhood friend Rei for the first time in years. With other friends unable to come, we headed to a love hotel rumored to be haunted, just like old times. Drunk and carried away, our friendship took a turn as I was drawn in by her expressions, uncovering new sides of each other. Keeping it a secret from everyone made it a fun, occasional thrill. However, the male voice in this work is annoyingly loud and distracting; I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known. The handheld filming style is the root of the problem—while the script and direction aren't bad, the lack of objective camera work fails to deliver arousing footage. The camera was off-center in the first scene, with the actress fading out mid-action, and the editing felt sloppy. Even in the final scenes, focus and angles were poor, and the duration was surprisingly long. Amateurs these days might shoot better; the actress is beautiful and erotic, but the terrible camera work kills the mood. Overall, a disappointing experience.
