After actually watching this work, I felt the depth of human drama depicting the subtle complexities of emotions between a man and a woman. The psychological portrayal of two people who initially intended to keep their relationship purely physical, bound by a monthly promise, yet gradually developing genuine feelings, is exceptional. Particularly, the acting skills of Kaede (Okui Kaede) were remarkable. She delicately expressed the year-long emotional turmoil, realistically conveying the shift from feigned calm to uncontrollable longing. In the 137-minute runtime, the structure allows full enjoyment of her charm, which is a delight for fans. Her cute looks combined with a great figure bring a realistic relatability to the work.

However, there are regrettable aspects as well. While Okui Kaede's dynamite body and acting are impeccable, the camera work has a voyeuristic style reminiscent of V-cinema, which can undermine the emotional impact. With more careful direction to highlight her appeal, it could have received higher praise. I wished for more refinement in the everyday acting beyond the intimate scenes. For instance, delving deeper into the psychological conflicts leading up to the frantic sex before parting would have added more substance to the work.

Overall, it lives up to expectations and ranks as one of my best-viewed works. The final sex scene where the two immerse themselves after failing to keep their promises is a powerful explosion of emotions. I look forward to future works, and with improvements in direction, they could shine even brighter.
