I actually watched the pre-debut intensive training video of a certain idol group this time, but there were some concerns regarding the costumes. Indeed, the way the members, who overcame harsh auditions together, deepened their friendships and bonds was moving, and the dedication of the girls sharing heart-stirring moments in a world they stepped into to change themselves came through strongly. Especially, their straightforward attitude toward what they love made me feel an unstoppable drive forward, and the voyeuristic-style filming added a sense of realism. However, during the video, the costumes became uniform, with many scenes where all members wore the same outfits, making it hard to distinguish individual characters. This led to confusion about who was who and sometimes broke the emotional immersion. For instance, in dance practice scenes, the identical costumes and overlapping movements made it difficult to appreciate the differences in individual skills and expressions. While the uniform costumes might have been intended to emphasize teamwork, a bit more effort to highlight individuality could have allowed for a deeper follow-up on their growth. Still, overall, the passionate feelings unfolding in a secret garden-like space were conveyed well, making it a work that heightens anticipation for their debut.
