I recently watched the new work by director Asagiri Kiyoshi, and was deeply impressed by its profound storyline that goes beyond mere fake-lover-themed adult content. The story follows office lady Konatsu, who asks a colleague to pretend to be her boyfriend in front of her marriage-pressuring parents, leading to a fake relationship that escalates from a home visit to intimate moments like bathing together and full-body caressing in a mixed bath. Konatsu's flushed cheeks, shampoo-scented wet hair, and firm skin with droplets glistening on her beautiful bust enhance the visual appeal, and the male actor's non-annoying, natural performance is a plus. Particularly, the psychological transformation of Konatsu, who initially resists but accepts the acts for her parents' sake and gradually reaches climax, is delicately portrayed, bringing tears to my eyes in the final scene. As the fake relationship continues, through shared bedding and wedding dress fittings, the two's escalating desires culminate in a genuine love story, showcasing the stable quality typical of Alice Japan productions and marking a long-awaited masterpiece. The director's skill shines through in this emotionally stirring film.
